About Me

I obtained both a Bachelor’s of Social Work degree with a minor in Gender & Sexuality Studies and then a Master’s of Social Work degree from New York University. I was heavily involved during undergrad in the National Organization for Women at NYU as well as in the social work community there. I have been involved in the Radical Social Work Group on and off since Graduate school.

Much of my career has been spent in the field of trauma work, often specifically focused on the intersection of substance abuse and trauma. But I have never let my learning stop there. I have learned techniques from a broad range of modalities that have been found to be helpful for any issue you might be facing including, but not limited to, CBT, Seeking Safety, somatic and/or body-based, and yoga. I am passionate about LGBTQIA affirming, body positive, sex positive therapy.

Yoga has always been something that made a regular appearance in my life since first taking yoga classes in middle school. However, in 2017 it became a daily practice and led me to take my first yoga teacher training.

Yoga and psychotherapy both have the potential to help in many aspects of life. I would be honored to have the opportunity to share in your journey of self-discovery.
